My kids take a few classes at the junior high school and I home school them in others. In between the shuttling and algebra lessons (I teach them math because I LOVE it!) I’ve managed to pencil and ink the first pages.
Episodes are coming soon.
It’s wonderful being back at my drawing desk. I now have it in my sunroom, which limits me to mornings because those afternoons are HOT.
After much consideration, I’ve decided to go with a smaller page format, more of a Manga size than a US comic size. It feels better to drawing and to holding a book (as my plans are to publish in graphic novel format). The compromise is the detail, which will be pretty difficult. Detail is extremely important to me in writing and illustration, so the smaller size means smaller nibs. REAL small.
